Do you connect to my bank accounts?
No. Layline is a manual budgeting app—you enter transactions yourself. This means we never need access to your bank credentials, providing an extra layer of security.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely on your device and optionally synced via iCloud using Apple's encrypted CloudKit infrastructure. We use industry-standard cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance for any server-side storage.
Can Layline employees see my financial data?
No. Your financial data is encrypted and we don't have access to your encryption keys. Even our team cannot view your personal financial information.
What happens if I lose my phone?
If you have iCloud backup enabled, your data is safely stored and can be restored on a new device. Without your Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode, no one can access your Layline data.
How can I delete my data?
You can delete all your data at any time from within the app or by contacting our support team. We honor all deletion requests within 30 days.
